Though Órla Cronin Research is a young and relatively compact company, corporate social responsibility has been embedded in our values from the very beginning. We use electricity and gas from green energy companies, we recycle as much as possible, and use recycled paper. Our coffee (and chocolate biscuits!) are fairly traded, and we use public transport for journeys within the UK.
In addition to these impact minimisation measures, we also endeavour to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we live.
We are currently working towards Business in the Community's Community Mark, and Órla Cronin Research donates company staff time to the following not-for profit organisations:
“E- Volunteers” serve communities in developing countries, e.g. collecting research data, mentoring young people, and engaging in many other projects to benefit organisations serving people in the developing world. Our most recent project for UNOV was conducting some global research for Lawyers without Borders. |

The Cranfield Trust offers free consultancy projects to voluntary organisations, using a register of volunteers from the commercial sector |

ProHelp is a national network of 1,000 professional firms who give their time and expertise for free to community groups and voluntary organisations. |

The Ocean Youth Trust North West provides sail training and personal development for young people between the ages of 12 - 25. |

Institute of Cultural Affairs ( ICA:UK ) provide facilitation services and facilitation training to organisations, and offer financial and capacity-building support for community development work overseas. Órla Cronin is an associate of ICA:UK and is trained in their group facilitation methodology. |
